What are A Level Courses
A Levels are designed for 16–18 year-old school leavers who want to specialise in subjects they enjoy and that support their future university or career goals.
Most A Levels are assessed through exams at the end of the course, with some subjects also including coursework or practical assessment.
Respected by universities and employers, A Levels develop in-depth subject knowledge, critical thinking, independent learning and the skills needed for higher education and future careers.
As part of your full-time study programme, you can choose three A Level subjects or combine A Levels with BTEC qualifications to create a programme that suits your interests and ambitions.
