Educational trips and visits are a key part of life at Lowestoft Sixth Form. Every year, students have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of educational visits, residential experiences and subject-specific excursions that enhance their studies, broaden their perspectives and create lasting memories.
In 2026, our students took part in more than 100 educational trips and residential visits across the UK and overseas, alongside welcoming over 50 guest speakers from universities, industry and professional organisations.
Recent highlights include Psychology students exploring Budapest and Vienna, Sociology students visiting Venice, Geography students undertaking fieldwork in Battersea, London, Philosophy students attending a conference at Warwick University, Criminology, Sociology and Policing students visiting Shrewsbury Prison, and Film Studies students experiencing the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London.
